Sift ’N Thrift is a thrifting event created for people who attend to build their sustainable wardrobe. Thrifting supports the slow fashion movement of reducing material waste, CO2 emissions, and fighting to end unlivable wages of fashion industry workers. The original logo and visual system have been implemented into a website and coded in HTML, CSS, and jQuery. The website was first designed in Figma, and then put into code by hand. Upcycled clothing was an inspiration for the patchwork arrangement of patterns, and also the text within the logo. The muted monochrome coloring of the photos and website pages keeps the site from being overwhelming, while also giving it a vintage look.
